Beaufort‐Jasper Water and Sewer Authority provides a Summer Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students to promote their personal development and professional skills reflective of their field of study.

BJWSA generally offers internship training opportunities in Engineering, Safety & Risk, Human Resources, Water, Wastewater and other Environmental Services, Accounting and other business‐related fields.

Students will be asked to provide accurate and required employment related information. All students selected for participation in the Program must comply with existing BJWSA policies, practices and employment laws.

Salary level will be commensurate to the student’s position and experience, and the duration of the internship will be from approximately late May to Mid‐August. Students must meet the following requirements in order to participate in the Program:

A full or part‐time continuing college/university student with a current ranking of sophomore, junior, or graduate student. Technical students must be in their second year or higher of their coursework. Completed 30 or more semester hours or 90 quarter hours. Possess at least a 2.5 grade point average. Coursework must be related to the training opportunities listed above.
