Healthy Community Grants Available
Ward Edwards, a civil engineering and surveying firm, has announced that grants are available to non-profit organizations to encourage creative solutions for existing environmental problems. Ward Edwards will invest up to $10,000 in projects that promote or inprove environmental sustainability in selected South Carolina and Georgia counties. Customer Care

If you are currently enrolled to pay your bills on-line, simply click on the OnLine Bill Payment and log-on using your BJWSA account number and the name that appears on your bill. You can make payments by Visa or MasterCard. You may also contact our Customer Service Department with billing inquiries or other general questions. One of our service representatives will reply during normal business hours.

New Customers: We are currently upgrading our on-line payment process in order to improve the service; therefore we are unable to offer this service to new customers at this time. Please contact our Customer Service Department if you have any questions. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Water Conservation

Whether your water comes from a public supply or from a private well, water conservation efforts play a direct role in increasing the reliability of our water supplies. BJWSA invites you to take action to conserve and protect our water resources every day.

Applying for New Services
BJWSA welcomes new customers to our system and are glad to provide you with water and sewer services. We want to make this busy time of moving and relocating as smooth and hassle free as possible for you and your family. When applying for a new water or sewer services, you will first need to fill out the water/sewer tap application form.

Education & Programs

BJWSA Facility Tours
BJWSA offers group tours of its water and wastewater facilities. These educational programs feature presentations by professional staff with content and length of each tour varying depending on the participants ages, backgrounds, interests and special requests.To arrange a tour for school classes, youth groups or adults, please call 987-9219. For general, customer service and other utility information, call 987-9292. Note:Tours will be postponed or cancelled if National Security Alert level is orange or red.

Facts about Lead and Drinking Water
Cities in some areas of the country are experiencing high levels of lead in their drinking water, but this is not an indication of a nationwide problem. In those areas where lead is found in drinking water, lead service lines are the main cause of the problem. Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority (BJWSA) does not use lead pipes but some property owners may have installed them to connect their property to our system. Therefore, we monitor tap water in homes for lead and have found levels significantly less than the maximum allowed by the U.S. Environment Protection Agency (EPA).
