Financial Report
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is a thorough and detailed presentation of the BJWSA’s financial status. The Introductory section provides an overview of our organization and significant endeavors. The Financial and Statistical sections include an independent auditor's report, our management's discussion and analysis, and financial details.
BJWSA has received the Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence award in Financial Reporting for six consecutive years. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a government must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized comprehensive annual financial report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements.
